A collection of Royal Crown bird mugs and 1979 National Audubon figurines, along with a porcelain bird music box. This avian-themed lot of seven items features three gilt-trimmed, footed mugs with color illustrations of different songbirds and foliage. They are marked to the base ‘Royal Crown’. The realistically detailed bird figurines from the National Audubon Society features models of the house wren, the American goldfinch, and the red-breasted nuthatch. The wren and goldfinch are signed in the surface to the base ‘Richard Palmer’; the labels at the base are marked ‘American Songbird Sculpture Collection by Richard Palmer – 1979 – 1457 of a Limited Edition’. The nuthatch is signed in the surface ‘L. Braddock’; the label underneath is marked in the same fashion and ‘By Lester Braddock’. The porcelain bisque bluebird’s round base is marked ‘Milano Porcelain – Sculpture – by Eda Mann’.
