A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan Accent Rug. Comprised of wool, this rug features a central medallion with pendants in hues of chocolate, ecru, salmon, merlot, slate and green on a merlot, lozenge field populated with vining flowers. Compound sprandrels in the same palette lead to meandering carnation guard borders flanking the principal herati border. The rug finishes with an overcast selvedge and a white weft fringe. This rug is unmarked.
