Jean-Jules Salmson Bronze Sculpture

A bronze classical goddess sculpture by well-noted French sculpture Jean-Jules Salmson (1823–1902). The piece depicts a classical Roman goddess in traditional draped robes leaning on a fluted pedestal. The sculpture has a warm bronze patina and stands on a square base. It bears the signature Salmson pressed into the bronze on the base of the pedestal. This item is a complement to item 17CLT165-053.
