Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Kashan Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan rug. This accent rug presents a central medallion with pendants in hues of blue, goldenrod, red, ecru on a powder blue field filled with arabesque floral forms. Pendant spandrels in the same hues lead to a meandering daisy border, flanked by compound sawtooth borders and a major herati border on a sage ground. The rug finishes with an overcast baby blue selvedge edge and a short weft fringe. The rug is unmarked.
