A shadowbox art display by Cincinnati artist, author, and editor Sam Wilder. The shadowbox blends old nostalgic images of Americana with the world of Rock N’ Roll music. To the left forefront of the piece you will find a Grand Funk Railroad We’re An American Band yellow vinyl 45RPM record . To the right forefront of the piece you will find the quote from the song Rock and Roll Warning by Larry Raspberry and the Highsteppers: ‘Rock and roll will make you rant and rave, it will send you to an early grave, but compared to what you left… What a lovely way to go’. In the background of the piece you will find details from bands such as Boston and the Moody Blues alongside of Americana images such as a biplane and a man fishing while listening to music alongside of his dog. The shadow box frame features a dark wood and has wire to the verso for hanging.
