An antique Mount Washington Smith Brothers satin art glass biscuit jar. The lobed jar has a cream background, hand painted with oak leaves and acorns in autumnal shades with mounted gilt outlines. The jar is topped with an Albertine silver plate lid with ornate embossed band and handle. The jar is marked to the verso with the Smith Brothers red lion mark.
