A Herend Hungary white porcelain Dancing Lad figurine. The figurine depicts a traditional Hungarian csardas folklore dancer with a mustache and long flowing garment. The figurine is marked with the Herend Hungary backstamp and an incised ‘5496 12’ mark to the base. The figurine was inspired by artwork by Hungarian sculptor Miklós Izsó 1831-1875.
