Red and Black Transferware by Spode

A collection of red and black transferware by Spode. This twenty-nine piece collection, of assorted pieces from the Hunt series, includes ten dinner plates, six salad plates, six fruit bowls, four cream soup bowls and three bread plates. Each piece has a brick red border of intricate limbs and leaves around a classic hunt scene in a muted black hue. Each design was inspired by the artwork of J.F. Herring. They are marked to the underside ‘Copeland Spode England.’

• Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.

Condition

- There are chips to the edges of a couple plates and the hunt scenes have worn off on the bread plates.

- Measured as a group for shipping.
- The diameter of each plate is 10.5"
