A hand-knotted Persian Heriz area rug. This wool carpet features a color palette of coral-red, navy, pale gray, golden tan, moss green, peach and cream. The coral-red field is patterned with angular vines, fern leaves, and palmettes. It has a samovar pattern to the main border with guard borders of lobed flowers. It has natural warp fringe to either end and overcast selvedges. Unmarked.
