A mixed media drawing on paper by listed artist Herbert Creecy (1939 – 2003), titled Ground Launch. This work, which utilizes paint and ink, depicts an abstracted rendering of a rocket soaring through the sky, leaving a trail of colored pigment behind. The surrounding landscape is rendered with truncated, linear lines, some of which are cross-hatched. To the right center margin is a handwritten signature. The work is presented under glass beneath matting in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire and a typed informational tag to the verso.

Condition

- paper has wear to edges and corners; frame has extensive surface wear; discoloration; scrapes; finish loss.
