This collection includes a fourth edition of Merck’s Index: An Encyclopedia for the Chemist, Pharmacist and Physician, published by Merck & Co. in 1930. The other titles in this collection are Applied Harmony: Part I: Diatonic Harmony and Simple Modulation by Carolyn A. Alchin with revisions by Vincent Jones (L. R. Jones, 1935), The Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes (Dodd, Mead and Company, 1953), and Choice Readings for Public and Private Entertainments and for the Use of Schools Colleges and Public Readers with Elocutionary Advice by Robert McLean Cumnock (A. C. McClurg and Co., 1899).
