Towle "Boston Shell" Silver Plate Carving Set with Other Silver Plate Serveware
Item Details
An assortment of silver plate and silver tone serveware with decor. Featured is an oval aluminum tray and heart shaped bowl with heavily chased grape leaf motifs by Arthur Court. The silver plate items include a foliate form spoon holder with scalloped edges and three ball feet by Bellini of Brazil, two glass bowls with silver plate rims including a divided relish dish, an urn-shaped bud vase with a lightly chased scroll and heart motif, and a carving knife and fork set in the Boston Shell pattern by Towle Silversmiths. The set features silver plate handles with a stainless steel blade and prongs. They are presented in their original box. Most of the items are marked to the undersides.
Condition
- some items have surface wear including scratches and moderate tarnish; some items have very minimal wear; the Towle set is in its original box.
