This painting depicts a robed figure standing and conversing with two women, who stand before a stilted pedestal holding a flower bed and bamboo cane hooked with a fish ornament. To the top left edge of the composition is painted calligraphic text and a red artist seal. The painting is presented under glass in a stained and red tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
