Vintage 1940s & 1950s Straw Handbags Including Josef
Item Details
A selection of vintage woven handbags. The three bags highlight handcrafted woven designs including a Josef basket bag with a pale tan lining covered in a macrame style raffia. Made in Italy. Also included is a small blue envelope style bag woven onto a wooden ring frame, along with a long strap. A cloth label to the interior reads ‘Made in Japan’. A straw bag featuring a scrolled wooden top and standing base with a thin braided strap threaded thru openings at the ends of the top frame completes the listing.
