Rogers Smith & Co. Victorian Silver Plate Footed Coffee Server

Item Details

A late 19th century Victorian silver plate coffee server by Rogers Smith & Co. of New Haven Connecticut. This coffee server is designed with a cross shaped finial on the hinged lid, small lion head accents to the handle and legs which have paw style feet. The front of the pot features an ornate chased cartouche monogrammed with an old style ‘M’ to the center. It is marked to the underside with ‘1877’ and ‘6’.
