Knowles and Schmid Bros. Collectors Plates Including Norman Rockwell and Hummel

A group of Knowles and Schmid Bros. collectors plates. The four Knowles plates include: two featuring Norman Rockwell reproductions, Christmas Dream depicting Santa looking down at a child sleeping in a chair, and Reflections depicting an older woman sitting in an attic surrounded by a photograph and sentimental objects; one titled The Cardinal, the first issue of the Encyclopaedia Britannica Birds of Your Garden Collection; and one depicting a mother holding an infant child on her shoulder titled Abby and Lisa, the Edna Hibel Mother’s Day Plate for 1984. Each of these limited edition plates has a hand written plate number on the underside. The Edna Hibel Mother’s Day plate also includes a certificate of authenticity. The fifth plate in this group features a reproduction of a Sister Berta Hummel painting depicting an angel playing a flute, ‘Christmas 1972’ is printed in cursive font beneath the angel. The title of the plate Engel mit Flote is printed on the underside along with a Schmid Bros. 1972 copyright mark.
