A set of two circa 1965-71 lithograph posters on paper designed by well-listed surrealist Spanish artist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983). Featured is a poster printed by Arte Paris for an exhibition of Miró work, including Peintures sur Papier and Dessins, held at Paris’s Galerie Maeght in October – December 1971. Also featured is a similar poster printed by Maeght Éditeur Imprimeur for Miró’s Cartons exhibit held at Galerie Maeght in 1965. Both prints feature colorful abstract imagery in contrasting hues of red, yellow, green and blue, accented with thick black lines against white grounds. Each unframed poster features a signature in plate to the lower margin and gallery information printed to the top.

Condition
- to Fair; paper is warped from storage; slight discoloration present; edge wear and minor creasing to corners, particularly to larger print; items are unframed.
