A sterling silver icon titled Madonna con bambino. This repoussé handworked icon depicts the Madonna and Child in an embrace with gold-tone halos. The image is set in a Gothic arch flanked by cherubs to either side. The piece is presented framed under glass. It is identified with an Italian authenticity label In verso and is marked to the bottom left corner with a 925 marking and the artists illegible signature.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor blemishes to frame; pink marks to the lower center.
