A hand-knotted Persian Caucasian area rug. The one directional design features a vase of flowers and birds. It is woven on a cream field with decorative spandrels and compound border with unresolved minor borders on indigo field and primary border on burgundy field. The color palette is indigo, forest green, rose, brown, burgundy, ochre and cream. It is unsigned and has a natural cotton warp fringe.
