Item Details
A bronze US Mint Medal No. 101 commemorating George Washington’s presidency. The obverse of the medal depicts Washington in the profile view with surrounding text and the year, 1789, centered below. To the reverse is two hand hands clasped in a sign of unity between the Native Americans with the text, ‘Peace and Friendship.’ Above the hands is a crossed peace pipe and tomahawk.
