Antique Lemaire Theater Glasses in Mother of Pearl

Item Details

A pair of antique theater glasses in mother of pearl with a brass frame and foliate bands. One optical eyepiece is stamped Lemaire Paris while the other states Henry Bockstruck St. Paul which most likely indicates they were purchased from the landmark jewelry store in Minnesota that was established in 1883. The theater glasses are engraved REA to the front and they are stored in the original leather case with a red satin lining.

Condition

- the lenses are clear
- the adjustment knob is tight but works
- the case shows appropriate wear
