Jacobean Style Oak Cabinet by Kittinger

Item Details

A Jacobean style oak cabinet by Kittinger. This piece features a trapezoidal top with beveled edge and zigzag molding, overhanging a carved case including front door with applied carved molding columns supporting a scalloped arch with embellished corners. The door is fitted with a pierced black metal plate and ring pull. The angled sides feature recessed panels with several applied frames. The cabinet stands on four turned legs joined by a carved apron and perimeter stretcher. The back of the piece includes a ‘Kittinger’ plate, marking the piece.
