1851 Elkington & Co. Birmingham Silver Plate Mustard Spoons
Item Details
A set of six 1851 silver plate mustard spoons by Elkington & Co. of Birmingham, England. Each spoon features an elongated bowl and flared handle decorated with an understated foliate design. The backs of the handles are marked ‘E & Co’ in Gothic letters followed by an ‘M’ in a lozenge for 1851 and a crown above ‘E & Co’ in a shield.
Condition
- minor surface wear including faint scratches and minimal tarnish.
