Item Details

An antique Chinese lotus shaped hand decorated porcelain bowl. Featured is a 19th century Chinese bowl with a wavering rim, teal glazed interior, lotus shaped body, and a stout pedestal base decorated with an overlapping wave pattern. The exterior exhibits hand-painted scenes of men and women, either seated or standing, at an outdoor market. The verso is marked with a brown Qing Dynasty tongzhi mark, used between 1862-1873.

- significant amount of debris and spotting to interior and exterior; significant spotting and wear to underside.
