A 1994 limited edition untitled lithograph print on paper by listed Illinois artist Michiko Itatani (born 1948) from the series titled Childhood’s End. The piece depicts an apocalyptic scene with abstract figures flying through the air against a mushroom cloud backdrop, rendered in a palette of blue, black, brown, lavender and yellow hues. The work was printed by David Jones and issued by Anchor Graphics of Chicago for their initial subscription series. It is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower left and numbered as 20 out of an edition of 50. The print is mounted to an off-white backing and presented under glass in a black wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes documentation from Anchor Graphics with information about the print and edition.
