Item Details

An antique Victorian walnut side chair featuring a pierced-carved decoration atop a curved and burled veneer crest rail flanked by scroll carved stiles. The curved, upholstered arms are supported by turned posts with scrolled tops. The upholstery is a gold velveteen fabric with matching gimp trim. The chair rises on two front turned legs and curved back legs, all on casters and joined by a curved apron with a decorative accent. The chair is heavily varnished, has many incised carved details and includes a throw pillow.
