Pair of Asian Style Pear Shaped Vases

Item Details

A pair of Asian style ceramic pear shaped vases. The vases feature in relief the image of a mountainous terrain set with trees, scattered brick red buildings and a small boat on a river. The blue grey mountains rise up the sides of the vases to a setting sun painted in maroon and ochre. The vases rest on jade green pedestals decorated in relief. The vases are marked to the bottom with a raised stamp.

Condition

There is residue present on some of the relief.
