Vintage Chinese Bronze and Brass Censer
Item Details
A vintage Chinese bronze and brass censer with a guardian lion finial. The top the lion sits on is pierced with scroll work to allow the incense to waft out. The bowl of the incense burner features gold-tone repousse dragons to the sides of the bowl with a greek key style design to the rim. The middle of the burner has a pierced flower shape, and features two seamonsters as handles, with lower rings for tassels. The base of the burner has open work accented with a floral scrolled motif, and bats for good luck. The incense burner is not signed.
