Vintage 1970s Raku Wood Fired Art Pottery
Item Details
A pair of 1970s wood fired art stoneware vessels including a vase and bowl. The vase has a tall, squared shape with the sides angled slightly outward, resting on a tall, trimmed foot ring. The centerpiece bowl has an exaggerated rim with intentional distressing and a dramatic taper to a small, cylindrical round base and foot. Each has a pastel, matte glaze in taupe, pale lilac and blue coloration, some areas slightly iridescent from the firing environment. The bowl is marked illegibly to the underside.
