Chinese Porcelain Double Gourd Ewer
Item Details
A Chinese porcelain double gourd ewer. This footed ewer features a double gourd shape with an elongated handle, swan neck spout, and small removable lid. The piece is decorated with Asian scroll, foliate, and bird imagery in red, blue, green, and yellow hues with a Chinese Dragon weaving its way around the base. The underside of the spout is marked with Chinese characters.
Condition
- some surface wear including slight chipping to base of lid; minor markings throughout.
