A hand tufted Persian style wool area rug by Nourison. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, black, cranberry, camel, sage, hunter, sky blue, lavender, and sand. The black colored field features a large ornate pendant medallion with equally ornate spandrels along with scrolling floral and foliate motifs. Framing the field are broken borders of stylized herati patterns, and finished with a cotton binding and backing. The underside is marked ‘Handmade in the People’s Republic of China’.
