A copy of the government booklet, This is Ann She’s Dying to Meet You. This paper booklet was published and distributed by the American War Department in 1943 ‘for the information and guidance of all concerned,’ in regards to the real dangers of malaria to the armed forces. The illustrations are attributed to listed American artist Theodor Geisel (1904-1991) who was best known as beloved children’s author and illustrator Dr. Seuss. The text is attributed to Munro Leaf, neither receive credit in the publication.
