Vintage Asian Enameled Ginger Jar

Item Details

A beautiful vintage Asian ginger jar hand painted with applied enamel. The entire piece is enameled in beautiful deep shades of red, blue, green, rose, yellow, white, brown and black. The scene depicts a pair of Quetzal birds surrounded by colorful array of trees, leaves and flowers. There are floral bands and lattice work, all highlighted in gold accent trim. A wonderful piece. Both lid and bottom are signed.

Condition

- a very minor amount of enamel loss.
