An East Asian style watercolor painting on paper of a landscape. This painting depicts a gestural application of pigment to depict a canopy of curling trees, which overlook a clear body of water wrapping to the distance. To the top left corner of the composition is painted calligraphic text and an artist seal. The painting is presented under a linen mat and is held in a silver tone wooden frame moulded with bamboo motifs featuring hanging wire to the verso.

- moderate discoloration to painting; painting is creased once horizontally and once vertically; light foxing present; minor wear to frame.
