A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, cranberry, sand, sky blue, and camel. The indigo colored field features an all-over mina khani pattern along with central medallions. Framing the field is a main stylized herati patterned border with carnation meander, and a running water guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a dense natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
