A hand colored etching on paper titled L’Arivée du Courier_ etched by Jacques Firmin Beauvarlet (French, 1731–1797)
and after the original artist François Boucher (French, 1703–1770). This print depicts a young woman with a lamb and dog eagerly awaiting the arrival of a messenger. The print features in-plate text to the bottom with the title and a dedication to Madame la Marquise de Montesquiou. The print is housed in a silver tone and black wooden frame under matboard and glass.

Condition

- minor discoloration to image; very light wear to frame.
