A hand-knotted Kazak wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a rug of cranberry, indigo, ivory, clementine, and sand. The cranberry colored field features three pendant medallions each in a lozenge, along with medallions, and other geometric motifs. Framing the field is a main stylized lambalo border, along with a rectilinear medallion border, and a laleh abbasi patterned guard border. Finishing the rug are double overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
