A hand-colored halftone print on paper titled State Street, Boston after an engraving by S. Lacey from an original by British artist William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854). This piece depicts the titular street in Boston with the Old State House at the end and sidewalks bustling with people, although the street itself is empty save for two horses and carts. The artists’ names are printed to the lower corners and the title is printed to the lower center. This print is presented behind a mat and glass in a gold tone frame with floral running ornamentation and wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- mild to moderate discoloration of image; slight wrinkling to ground; very minor wear to frame.
