Van Briggle Lotus Shaped Stoneware Vase With Frog
Item Details
A lotus shaped stoneware vase with frog. The vase is made in the shape of upward curving lotus flower petals with a frog to the center representing the lotus seed pod. The vase and frog are painted in a periwinkle blue matte finish glaze. The frog is marked to the bottom with a box surrounding a double ‘A’. The vase is marked to the bottom with a box surrounding a double ‘A’ and ‘Van Briggle, Colo Spgs Colo, C – P’. Both pieces are marked in pencil to the bottom ‘Canada, 2001’.
