Ornate Renaissance Style Brass Jewelry Box and Candle Holders
Item Details
An ornate Renaissance style brass jewelry box with brass candle holders. The jewelry box has a domed top with a hinged handle and an all over raised foliate design. The jewelry box has an ornate arabesque style sides with caryatid figures on the corners and resting on scrolled acanthus leaf feet. This is presented with two ornate candle holders with flower shaped capitals and fluted columns with leaf accents on the knops. The candle holders rest on textured leaf bases with scrolled accents.
Condition
Items have corrosion and discoloration while the box lid is detached. The inside of the jewelry box lining is peeling and does not include the key
