An original abstract acrylic and sand painting on canvas by contemporary Dayton-based artist David Gossard (21st century). This untitled work depicts a grid of black, red, gray, and green linework set against a vivid yellow background. Sand has been mixed with the paint to the central portion of the piece, creating dramatic texture. Artist signature is signed in paint to the lower right. This work is not framed, awaiting presentation of choice.

David Gossard is an IAP high school student preparing to attend his last school year at K12 Virtual School. His love for painting and the abstract style came about after taking classes at K12 Gallery & TEJAS and learning under local artist Scott Gibbs.
