Carved Alabaster Covered Containers

A collection of carved alabaster covered containers. There are a circular shallow pot and coordinating lid with a spherical handle and a beehive-shaped container with a round lid and teardrop shaped handle. Both dishes appear to have been carved from white alabaster stone with brown veins. No visible maker’s marks are present.
