Antique Colonial Chippendale Side Chair

Item Details

An antique Colonial Chippendale side chair in maple and mixed woods. The serpentine crest rail has carved ears, above a pierced back splat and natural rush woven seat. The left-hand (sitter’s) rear leg is stamped on the upper inside, ‘E.G.B.’ The chair rests on four square legs with perimeter stretchers.

Condition

- minor marks to finish, wear to rear right leg.
