A set of eight oak Queen Anne style Windsor chairs. This set of eight sturdy oak chairs (six side and two armchairs) have pierced back splats flanked on each side by turned spindles set within a steamed bent hoop of oak, all of which are mortised into the solid oak shaped seat which rests upon two turned legs in the rear and two Queen Anne style turned cabriole legs on pad feet in the front, all connected by a incurvate hoop stretcher between the front legs and two short turned spindles that connect from the hoop to the rear legs. The armchairs having two additional spindles in the back and and two spindles and a short shaped hoop supporting the horizontal hoop that forms the arms. Tagged underneath: Winners Only.
