A Circa 1970’s pre-Persian Revolution signed palace size hand-knotted Tabriz garden rug. The rug features a repeating rectangular block pattern of boteh in red fields with a palette of ecru, orange, red, pale blue and mint green with red floral borders and checkered boarders. The compound border features an ecru field with a palette of browns, pale blue and mint green with further checkered and floral borders. The rug is signed by the artist and features 3’ ecru fringe.
