"The Coach and 315" Paul "Bear" Bryant Commemorative Lithograph
Item Details
A The Coach and 315 the official Paul W. ‘Bear’ Bryant commemorative lithograph. This lithograph by Daniel A. Moore depicts Bryant pointing on the sidelines with his rolled up game-plan. This image is from the hard-fought November 28, 1981 game against the Auburn Tigers where Alabama came out with the win and Coach Bryant became the winningest coach of college football with 315 wins. Coach Bryant’s right hand creates a leading line pointing to two players whose numbers together create ‘315.’ Coach Bryant was known for dressing in a suit and wearing a black and white houndstooth hat with a crimson feather. The artists name is printed in the bottom left corner in silver-toned ink and the bottom white margin has black letters that read ‘The Coach and 315’, ‘The Official Paul W. ’Bear’ Bryant Commemorative Lithograph,’ ‘Artist – Daniel A. Moore, Golden Eagle Enterprises, Inc.’ This piece is presented under a plastic sleeve and mounted onto a wooden plaque.
