An oil painting on canvas board of flowers on a windowsill by an artist named Kay Bean. This still life depicts a vase filled with red and yellow flowers, the vessel placed on a whitewashed windowsill with grayish shadows scattered around it. The piece is signed to its lower right corner, and is mounted in a carved wooden frame with a textile liner and a sawtooth hanger to its verso. There is a personal notation reading ‘With love to Cindy & Sandy from Ray 2005’ and a copy of the photograph the painting was made from to its verso of the work.
