East Asian Ink Painting of a Woman and Child
Item Details
An East Asian ink painting on paper of a woman and child. This piece, painted in a style that seems to be inspired by listed Chinese artist Yongkai Hu (born 1945), depicts a woman seated next to her sleeping child, her hands raised to the back of her head to groom her dark hair. A line of calligraphic text, along with a faint red signature seal, is visible along the left edge of the painting. It is presented under glass in a bamboo-motif frame that is wired for hanging.
