Antique Dresden Porcelain Centerpiece

An early 20th C. Dresden porcelain centerpiece. This striking piece features a large, pierced compote over a tall pillar where a young woman, in traditional German garb, stands collecting flowers. It is hand painted in bright colors with gold accents and has porcelain flowers and foliage applied to each surface. It is stamped to the base with the hallmark for Carl Thieme Potschappel, as well as, ‘Handpainted Dresden Germany.’

Condition

- There are minor chips to a few leaves and a petal missing from a flower.
