A reproduction print after listed artist Carol Jablonsky (1939 – 1992), titled Tiger & Rose. This print, which was created to promote Jablonsky’s solo exhibition at the Circle Gallery, depicts a stylized, white and black striped tiger resting on its stomach, clutching at a slender white rose. The composition is complemented by an inscription to the lower margins labeling the locations of the exhibition, as well as crediting the artist and title. The print is presented under glass beneath matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- frame is scuffed and edges broken; backing paper is damaged.
